Terms of Service
By using Professor Dynamo (the website at dynamoprof.com and the Professor Dynamo Discord bot) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Professor Dynamo is a free, fan-made community tool for Deadlock inhouse games: team balancing, hero and ability drafts, tournaments, leaderboards and statistics. It is run by Madi Kassymov as a hobby project.
Not affiliated with Valve
Professor Dynamo is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation. Deadlock, its heroes, artwork and fonts are the property of Valve. Game data comes from the public Deadlock API.
Your account
You sign in with Discord and may link a Steam account. Link only a Steam account that belongs to you. You are responsible for what happens through your account and your private draft links; do not share captain or player links with others.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- abuse, overload or try to break the service or its API;
- try to access drafts, tournaments or admin functions that are not yours;
- impersonate other players or link someone else’s Steam account;
- use the service for anything illegal or to harass other people.
We may remove data or block access for anyone who breaks these rules.
Mods and downloads
Ability draft mods are generated automatically for private games. You use them at your own risk and must follow Valve’s rules for Deadlock.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Ranks, statistics and balance results may be inaccurate or delayed, and the service may change or stop at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Madi Kassymov is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of Professor Dynamo, including lost games, data or access.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the new version. Questions: [email protected].
Dynamo Hub project reference
Dynamo Hub, the Windows companion app available through Professor Dynamo, was developed with Deadlock+ (deadlock-plus/deadlock-plus) as a project reference. The reference project's source code is available in that repository. We credit the Deadlock+ authors and contributors for their work.
